This workout is simple. Get yourself a stopwatch and time yourself doing 100 burpees.
In theory anyone can try the 100 burpees challenge but it may be more suited to the advanced and elite level. Don’t let that stop you though! If you are a beginner and you max out at 35 burpees, keep trying. It’s all about progress and pushing yourself harder and further next time.
Make sure you warm up before attempting this challenge as you’re going to be working the legs, shoulders and hip flexors. A full body workout would be advised. Try doing some leg swings, high knee marches and some walk-outs to push-ups. These exercises will get you suitably warmed up for the challenge ahead.
If you have the guts to try this insane 100 burpees challenge then time yourself and post your times on social media. Use the hashtags #ToughsHIIT and #100BurpeesChallenge. And be sure to follow us on Instagram & Twitter.
My personal record is currently 5 minutes, 38 seconds. I may film another future attempt at this so keep an eye on the ToughsHIIT YouTube. For more workouts, check out the Workouts page.
